May the road rise to meet you,May the wind be always at your back,May the sun shine warm upon your face,May the rains fall soft upon your fields,And, until we meet again,May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

This page is dedicated to the horse that started it all, my mare "Majic."  Majic was my first horse whom was given to me by my grandparents at age 12. Her loyalty, forgiveness, patience, devotion, and kind nature has made me the trainer I am today. I started teaching just two students on Majic when I turned 18 and now have more than 60 students and clients. Majic helped so many children and adults during her career, including children with Anxiety Disorders, Autism, Mental Retardation, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, and many  other disabilities. Majic became the wings these children needed to learn to soar in life.

Always an "Old Faithful", Majic became a barn favorite. In her younger years, Majic had an amazing show record. She blessed me with many blue ribbons and year-end titles in the hunter/jumper and eventing arenas. I learned every day from this special friend who easily became a soul mate.

Sadly, I lost Majic one chilly, October morning, at 27 years young. Always a fighter, Majic denied retirement twice before her passing. The decision to let Majic cross "Rainbow Bridge" was an extremely difficult one for me. As I struggled, I turned to her for one last lesson...How do I let go of my best friend? With a nudge and a nuzzle Majic told me she was ready to end her fight on her own terms. She taught me one last - very important thing - during her passing: always listen to your heart, our horses speak to them.

So, we said our goodbyes and Majic's spirit held me together... as I let her's go. She went quickly, quietly, and painlessly. She was free....
As I held her for a few final moments, I could see an entirely new horse in front of me. Majic's coat seemed to be made of gold, her previously tired face was relaxed and rested, and her eyes once filled with struggle were bright and peaceful. She had gone to a better place - a place where she will live forever - she lives now in my heart where she will always be protected with love.

I would live to express my deepest gratitude to all of you  for all of your support, I am deeply touched by your love for us during this difficult time. I could not have gotten through any of this without you all! Its overwhelmingly heart-warming and has kept me going! I am truly blessed!

Sincerely Yours,
Meghan, Majic, and Family.
